Rings made of 60 ply layered damask, vacuum hardened, one wide side band (2.0mm), one open side. You can see there the grain of the damask from 2 sides.

Damascus steel has its roots in Asia and the Orient. The layer damask is a tribute to the root in Asia. Very many layers, quite finely forged. Rings of ply damask are very different, quiet places alternate with lively swirls. No two rings are alike.
